The rain has been pouring and it is July ... typical England. So here is a quickie post whilst it's raining. Check out some of the rhubarb from Daddy Page's vegetable garden. 

There are gluts of it at the moment; it has thrived in the rain and we can't eat it quick enough. So expect plenty of rhubarb recipes to pop up over the next few weeks, from cakes to jams & puddings.

This summer, every time I bake I am going to strive to bake with something from the vegetable garden. This summer I'm going to get inspired and creative and bake some fresh recipes that will be refreshingly good, some healthy, some maybe not so healthy but all scrummy & perfect!
